Rotor blades for the Penultimate Stage (L-1) and Last Stage (L-0) of High/Intermediate Pressure (HP/IP) turbines or high-power units. Particularly suitable for Long Blades (Height > 100mm) and high-speed conditions. The fork-shaped root provides superior strength to withstand high centrifugal forces and steam impact.
Application
Primarily matches the last few stages of high-power steam turbines. These blades are typically large in size and subjected to stronger centrifugal forces and steam impact loads during operation; the high-strength characteristic of the Fork-type root can fully meet these mechanical load requirements. For example, the blades in the last three stages of domestic 100MW and 200MW units all adopt this type of root.
It can also be used for the Governing Stage (Control Stage) of some steam turbines. For instance, the Governing Stage of the Dongfang 300MW steam turbine utilizes a Triple-prong Fork root, which is adapted to the complex load conditions endured by Governing Stage blades.
