Double-journal Guide Vane

The Double-Journal Guide Vane (Stator Blade / Rectifying Vane) is a stator blade that features journals (shafts) at both ends of the blade body (Root side and Tip side). These journals provide positioning, support, and angular fixation. It is widely used in the stator flow path of Turbines and Compressors. In the Intermediate Pressure (IP) and High Pressure (HP) stages of steam turbines, it is mostly used for Adjustable Guide Vanes or Precision Straightening Stages (Flow Straighteners), delivering both positioning accuracy and vibration resistance capabilities.

Application

Stator stages of Gas Turbine Axial Compressors, especially for the intermediate Variable Stages.  The shaft positioning ensures circumferential uniformity and suppresses Surge (common in Aero / Industrial Gas Turbines).
